Requirements:

  • College Graduate – preferably with background in Legal or with at least 2 years in law school attendance.
  • Experience in government compliance work

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Satellite Office attorney in preparing for corporate documents
  • Over-all support in the Legal Department
  • Investigate the facts of cases and ensure that all relevant information is considered.
  • Identify appropriate laws, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other materials for assigned cases
  • Compile, analyze, and organize information
  • Gather exhibits for civil or labor cases
  • Prepare written reports
  • Prepare legal arguments for lawsuits
  • Draft pleadings and motions filed in court
  • Secure affidavits
  • Assist attorney during trials
  • Organize and track files from case documents and make them available and easily accessible to attorney
  • Draft contracts, mortgages, and separation agreements
  • Maintain financial records
  • Search legal literature stored in computer databases and on CD-ROM
  • Assist in compliance monitoring of the company
  • Process visas for expats
  • Draft demand letters
  • Coordinate and maintain corporate records and registration of all Satellite Office international affiliates
  • Review, assess, revise employment contracts
  • Represent company in client meetings, when necessary
  • Such other tasks as mey be delegated by the Management
