Damien is a key member of our Executive Team bringing with him a breadth of knowledge and professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Account Management and Business Development in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Damien identifies businesses that would benefit from the offshoring services we provide, adopts a consultative approach to establish how Satellite Office can partner with them to maximise the successful set-up, integration and ongoing management of their offshore team. His role also focuses on assessing and managing the changing needs of our expanding client base.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and Biology, Honours) at the Australia National University he gained a Masters in Law at the University of Sydney. He has since spent over 11 years in sales, managerial and customer facing positions within B2B companies. Prior to joining Satellite Office, Damien was Team Leader, National Team Australia at iSentia, (previously Media Monitors), Australia’s most prominent media monitoring and data analysis company where he led and mentored key client Account Managers from both the private and public sector.
Damien’s previous role as Manager, Newsdesk, National Team Australia, also at iSentia, enhanced his strong customer focused and strategic approach, and demonstrated his proven track record in staff management and mentoring whilst over achieving on personal and shared targets.
Before he joined iSentia, Damien worked at Datastable as a Director, Sales and Operations, managing clients’ requirements and creating new business opportunities. Earlier in his career, he was appointed Chief Operations Office – Asia Pacific – Shanghai and Hong Kong at Info Salons Group, where he spent 4 years establishing the business in this region. This was a wide ranging role that included building key relationships in the local market, strategic product development, finance and directly reporting to the Australian Executive Committee.
