Satellite Office has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing business process outsourcing companies having placed 16th on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100 list for 2018, growing at an average of 100% per year for the last 3 years. This is a fantastic achievement complementing Satellite Office’s 28th position on the 2017 AFR Fast Starters list.

“We’re honoured to be included on the list, firstly to be placed among so many other groundbreaking Australian businesses, but also to see our growth driven by the success of our clients,” said Michael McRitchie, Founder, and CEO. “The last year has been immense for Satellite Office, with growth on a number of fronts. We have opened some brand-new premium office facilities in Manila, and nearly doubled the number of Leased Staff that we have deployed on behalf of our clients.”

The areas in which Satellite Office has been able to assist our clients in addition to traditional areas for offshoring like Customer Service and Finance roles have included many successful placements in highly skilled areas like IT development, digital marketing, and design.

“This year we have worked on several exciting initiatives for some of Australia’s most dynamic companies and most familiar brands,” said Mr. McRitchie. “More and more, we are seeing that our value lies in our ability to gain a full understanding of our client’s business structure and culture, partnering with each business to ensure they are able to fully leverage off and benefit from our unique Offshore staffing model.”

Satellite Office offers their clients the ability to build full-time and dedicated teams in the Philippines, with recruitment and support processes that are tailored to meet the need of each role, with the client selecting the best person for any role they need to be filled. The result is an offshore team that is fit for purpose and fully in sync with the existing home office culture and work practices.

Jeff Blake, Satellite Office’s Manila-based Country Manager believes that the high place on the Fast 100 list is a sign that the unique Offshore staffing model is evolving from the early adopter segment into the wider use among the Australian business community.

“Our clients are becoming more familiar with the offshore work environment, and build very close relationships with their offshore staff, taking a hands-on role in their ongoing coaching, training, and development,” said Mr. Blake. “Our recruitment and support teams are very good at understanding each client’s preference for any given role or function, and we place an emphasis on the need for our internal staff to build a strong understanding of each of the clients with whom they work.”

“At the end of the day, our company is only as good as its people and we continue to place a strong emphasis on investing in our team as the business grows. We pay serious attention to professional development and give each of our staff long-term career focus which helps our people keep abreast of the latest methods from the world of offshore staffing. We feel it’s the strength of this knowledge that underpins our ability to continually deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients, and their success is fundamental to ours.”

“Looking ahead, we can only see the trend of offshore staffing increasing, and we are very excited by the opportunities this will create for us, our people, and our customers.”
